What It's Like to Work at Telepass

Our team manages commission operations for telecom and technology clients - work that requires equal parts Excel skill, detective instinct, and patient communication. Some of us process and audit commission statements. Some of us lead client relationships and coach teammates. Some of us build the processes that keep it all running. All of us collaborate daily on Zoom and Monday.com to solve what doesn't have an obvious answer.

You'll work from home during business hours (8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT), with the flexibility to adjust when life happens. TelePass provides the systems, the training, and the team. You bring the precision and the curiosity.

Are TelePass roles W-2 or 1099?

All TelePass roles are W-2 employee positions with comprehensive benefits, not 1099 contractor arrangements.

Is TelePass fully remote?

Yes. TelePass has been fully remote since day one. We do bring the team together in person a couple of times each year, which is why we prefer hires located in Illinois, Wisconsin, or Northwest Indiana.

What hours do I need to be available?

You need to be available during our core business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time. Within that window, you have flexibility to adjust your schedule when life requires it.

What kind of experience do I need?

It depends on the role. Each of our open positions lists specific experience requirements, but across every role at TelePass we look for strong Excel skills, sharp attention to detail, proactive communication, and the kind of curiosity that keeps you digging until you find the right answer. Commission management experience in telecom or tech is always a plus, but rarely a hard requirement.

What does training look like?

Our onboarding is structured and supportive, regardless of which role you're stepping into. It typically takes about three months to fully master TelePass's monthly processes. You'll have hands-on training, detailed documentation, and managers available via Zoom whenever you need help. No one is thrown in and expected to figure it out alone.

What benefits do you offer?

Our W-2 team members receive 80 hours of PTO annually, a 401(k) with 3% match after one year, a $10 monthly internet stipend, and charitable donation matching up to $100 per year. Pay rates and weekly hour commitments are listed in each individual job post.

Is there room to grow?

Yes - and it's intentional. We promote from within. Team members advance into senior, supervisor, and management roles as they build mastery. Several of our current leaders started in entry-level positions.

What technology do I need?

A reliable computer, stable internet, comfort with Excel, Zoom, and collaborative tools like Monday.com. You'll likely be juggling multiple client systems and email accounts in any role here, so being organized digitally matters across the board.

Is a background check required?

Yes. All employment offers are contingent on the successful completion of a background check.
